Welcome to the online home of the Roosevelt Action Association ("RAA") serving the Historic Roosevelt Neighborhood.
The RAA is a voluntary non-profit neighborhood association of residents, property owners and businesses promoting rehabilitation and redevelopment efforts and acting as a community advocate for issues that affect the neighborhood.
Did you know the RAA...
• Established Roosevelt as Phoenix's first neighborhood to be recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and the Phoenix Historic Property Register?
• Provides ongoing support to preserve historic homes in the neighborhood?
• Works with City of Phoenix Police and other City departments to increase security and reduce crime in the neighborhood?
• Participated in the City of Phoenix’s Neighborhood Initiative Area (NIA) program, which won the Statewide Outstanding Project Award from the Arizona office of the National Association of Housing and Rehabilitation Officials (April 2006)?
• Works with developers and city offices to promote significant infill and development projects including Roosevelt Square apartments, Roosevelt Commons, Portland Place Condominiums, and more?
